Stuff on two-wheeled fun, mostly mountain bikes and mountain biking, plus a nod to skinny tyres too!

Biking stuff

My current ‘rides’ - a fun mix of different bikes for different days!

Firstly, my Turner Flux. Bouncy fun, and sharp-as-a-pin handling.

I bought the Flux in early 2007, complete with Fox RP23 shock (which is really good - the lock-out actually works).

I find it a great, ‘do-anything-I’m-likely-to-attempt’ bike thats fast uphill and down and handles impeccably regardless of the terrain; it’s fantastically ‘snappy’ on twisting singletrack, fast and comfortable on rolling XC and confidence inspiring on big, rocky trails

Secondly, my ‘fast, fabulous and fun’ Kona Jake the Snake

With a name like Jake the Snake, how can it fail to be anything other than pure, unadulterated fun? And in an orange that’s brighter than any highlighter pen I’ve ever seen, it only adds to the smiles!

Ok, so I need a better photo - preferably without me in it, but it’s all I had!

Then there’s the Spesh Rockhopper - a great all-round hardtail, and perfect for taking Ollie for a ride on the back.

- awaiting a decent photo (or, in fact, any photo!)

Bikes I’ve owned and bid farewell too...

In arriving at my current stable of three, I’ve had quite a few bikes along the way, including a Turner 5-Spot, a Klein Attitude and an older Specialized Rockhopper. All great bikes and a few photos in the selection below (as well as a few more shots of my current bikes!)
